Characteristics of presidential system


The president does not propose legislation but has the right to veto the laws of the legislature (parliament). Nevertheless, a qualified majority from the legislative body may cancel this veto. This method is derived from the principle that any law in the British Monarchy system cannot be enacted without royal approval.head of sec

There is a fixed presidential term. The elections are made on the dates set. The vote cannot be dropped and early elections cannot be held by the vote of insecurity. Executive power is unique. The Cabinet members work with the head of state and have to implement the principles of executive and legislative bodies. In the presidential system, the president and the judges should be approved by the legislative body. The term "president" is not a unique expression of the countries governed by the presidential system. For example, whether popular or not, legally elected or not, a dictator is called the president.
