Economics and Education in Alabama
By 1915, the state of Alabama produced cotton production. A wolf species that emerged in this period caused farmers to diversify their products. Nowadays, most basic products come from Pamuk. With the hydroelectric power plant established in 1930 by TVA (Tennessee Valley Administration), cheap electricity, textile, aluminum, chemistry, paper, rubber, metallurgy and plastics have been contributed to the development of industrial units. Nuclear complexes such as Farley, Browns and Bellefonte, which were established here, have provided additional electrical power since 1970.
One of the most important educational institutions in the state is the University of Alabama. The University is located in the center of Tuscaloosa and has campuses in Birmingham and Hunstville. Another important university in the state is Auburn University. There is also a campus in Montgomery outside the city of Auburn, which is named after the University, which has an important role in engineering.
